iPhone remote

My iPhone remote app will not connect to my itunes library?

I have been searching for a solution all day. I have turned off my firewall , synced the iphone many times, close itunes and turned it back on, entered the 4 digit codes, and restarted my computer. Can anyone help me?
i have itunes 7.7 and 2.0 iphone software
i already have the remote app

1. You need to go to the iPhone app store either on your iPhone or on iTunes and download the remote app. It's free. Otherwise, make absolutely sure your iPhone is connected correctly to your WI-FI network, because the remote app requires a network connected. It won't work over the cell net.
