iPhone remote

My iPhone remote app will not connect to my itunes library? I have been searching for a solution all day. I have turned off my firewall , synced the iphone many times, close itunes and turned it back on, entered the 4 digit codes, and restarted my computer. Can anyone help me? i have itunes 7.7 and 2.0 iphone software i already have the remote app

Is there any iPhone web app out there that will just let me use my iPhone as a PC remote? I want something that will basically let me control Powerpoints using my iphone, I don't care if it does more, that's one feature I want. I'm running a Windows XP Home Ed. PC, and I don't want to have to pay for the program.

Could anyone suggest a solution for my iPhone/ remote control issue? Hi there, I have an iPhone and would like a remote control for it, so I can play music in the car and skip tracks without fumbling around for the next button! I have my phone hooked up to my stereo via AUX, but the only remotes I can find are for FM transmitters. Would the remote control still work, with the FM transmitter plugged in, but with me playing the music through the AUX port... if that makes sense lol. I found the solution in a Kensington LiquidAUX adapter, but it doesn't seem to be available yet, and I'm too impatient to wait! Does anyone have any suggestions or advice please? Thanks, Eva x

Why does everyone think the iphone is so great? Yet the cell phones in Japan still BLOW it away. Most phones have a universal remote bulit in, garage door opener, bar code reader and can buy train tickets and drinks from vending machines.

Question about the Remote Application for the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch...? I have recently downloaded the iPod Touch 2.0 software update and I got the Remote Application (App) for free and it doesn't seem to be working on my Windows XP PC. I have made sure that the WiFi for my iPod and for my computer are the same and I have entered the correct password many times. When I enter the password, Sometimes it says "Connecting to Library 'Example's Music,'" but usually it connects right away and it brings up the "Playlists" screen and it says "Loading..." It's been loading for 15 min. I've tried it dozens of times and it doesn't work. I have the latest version of iTunes. So, when I try it on my Lap Top, It works and it doesn't say loading, the Playlists section pops up in the amount of time it takes to look down at the iPod. I made sure that the iTunes Preferences are the same for both computers and the Wi-Fi is the same for both. The computers are on different floors, but I can still use the remote on the laptop on the other floor! Please help me figure this out.

Iphone as audio out? I have used air port express for air tunes before, but returned it because I had a problem with it about a year ago. I recently bought an Iphone from a friend going 3G and was wondering if an app was available that let me use it much like an airport express, but just as the remote audio feature. What this app that I am looking for is one that can have my Macbook Pro, which has my total audio library, play iTunes, and use the airtunes feature so that itunes will play to my iphone. I can then have my Mac playing my music, around my house, and have my iphone in its dock, playing my iTunes to my sound system remotely but all on my network. How do I connect my mac to my home audio system? im really into the new remote app for iphone and was wondering how i could wirelessly connect my macbook to my home stereo system so that i could listen to my music throughout my house any suggestions?

Is my 2 year old behind or ahead??? My daughter just turned 2 years old a few days ago and I'm worried she might be behind. I read that by this point she should know around 50-75 words and she bearly knows maybe 20 that she uses on a regular basis. She says mama, dada, hannah, baby, I say, it's hot, edward(but sounds like eward), bye-bye, apple and some others. We try to get her to talk and learn new words, but it doesn't seem to be sinking in. She mostly takes you by the hand or grunts when she wants something. She never used a paci, I read that might delay speech. Other than talking she seems to be ahead of other children her age. She's known how to use the tv remote since she was a few months old and she knows which one works what. She knows how to use my mother iphone, and finds and uses Youtube to find hannah montana clips. She loves doing puzzles and has about 15 different ones that are intended for 3 year olds. They range in difficulty. She is also able to distinguish the alphabet in her laptop toy. Her toy will ask for a letter and show it in either lowercase or uppercase and she knows all of them. She loves drawing and trying to write. We also just had a newborn, and she loves to help me with him...when he cries she goes and gets the paci or his bottle...and she even pats him on his back. She loves to help put away the dishes and the laundry. She also puts away her toys where they were before...without me telling her. I somtimes worry if she might be autistic...she does seem to have some of the characteristics. BTW we do try to get her to ask for what she wants...we don't just jump at her every request when she grunts for something...jeez she does understand when we talk to her or tell her to do things...it just seems to be talking is the only issue...and she was an only child...we now have a 3 week old.

Remote App? Did anybody buy the Remote app for their iPhone or iPod Touch? I did and I try and select a library and it dosn't make sence. Can anybody that has this app please tell me how to use the app? Please Help! Thank You! It says that i have to pick a library and it says to operate iTunes go to iTunes and click my iPod from the device list. And Nothing is happening. Yes I am on my wi-fi network. It shows up in my devise list, it is just when i try to select a library on my iPod, it says to go to iTunes and open iPod under the device list and i do that, but then what do i do next? When I click on my iPod though not comes up asking me to enter the four digit passcode. Where do you put the code in iTunes though? Will it have a picture of my iPod or the Remote App? And Should I go to the remote app on my iPod and then connect it to my computer? but see that is the problem because the icon dosn't show up under devises. I am on my network and i turned off the fire wall but nothing is happening. it only shows a picture of my ipod not the remote app.

How do I allow incoming connections through my firewall? I have windows firewall, what I need to do is just let it allow Incoming Connections for iTunes, so I can use the remote App on my ipod/iphone. it already is on the exception list.

Nokia 6263 or Nokia 5300? I want to buy a nokia phone with a t-mobile plan, but i don't know which one to choose. First I wanted Nokia 5300 but few people told me that the battery doesn't last long and that they have to charge it every day. I want to use it as mp3 player so the battery life is very important. Then I looked at Nokia 6263 but I couldn't find a lot of info about it. Does it have all the features as 5300, I mean can I install additional software and themes on it as I can on 5300? VNC viewer for Iphone/Itouch and Windows Mobile 5.0? Hi, I'm currently using VNC to remote onto a Windows XP Home workstation. This solution works great! Questions: 1. Does anyone know if there is a VNC client for the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS? 2. Does any know if the ITouch "the Iphone without the phone" can also use the VNC viewer to remote onto this workstation? 3. Should I ask my dad for the Iphone? I am 13 years old and I really want the iphone! I'm with alltel and the Iphone is on AT@T. My mom and dad divorced when I was born and I have only asked him for one thing my whole entire life and that was the ipod nano and he didn't even get me that.
